Benchmarks: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops
The Radeon HD 6990 provided some big number in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 averaging 101fps at 2560x1600. This meant that it was a whopping 91% faster than the Radeon HD 6970 and 74% faster than the GeForce GTX 580. When compared to the Radeon HD 6970 Crossfire configuration it was just 4% slower.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops performance was similar to that of Modern Warfare 2 with the Radeon HD 6990 averaging 117fps at 2560x1600. While this meant that it was 5% slower than the Radeon HD 6970 Crossfire cards it was 24% faster than the Radeon HD 5970 and 36% faster than the GeForce GTX 580. Moreover it was 65% faster than a single Radeon HD 6970 graphics card.
