Diablo III doesn't seem too CPU dependent, as we only saw 9% more performance when increasing the FX-8150's clock 80% from 2.50GHz to 4.50GHz.

The more efficient Core i7-3770K showed even less of a difference, gaining just 4% more performance (a measly 6fps) when going from 2.50GHz to 4.50GHz.

There was only a 14% difference between the fastest and slowest CPU tested. That equates to 18fps, which might seem notable, but it's irrelevant if you're playing with a speedy card like the HD 7970.
