Benchmarks: Full Drive Testing

Filling up the SSD 850 Pro only had a slight impact on performance, reducing the large file copy results by just 4% based on an average of three runs.

This time we see just a 3% reduction in performance once the SSD 850 Pro is full.

There is almost no difference (a 2% dip) in performance when comparing the SSD 850 Pro empty and full using our game data.

CrystalDiskMark confirms what we saw in our copy tests as the sequential write performance was reduced by just 3% once the SSD 850 Pro was full.

Both the random 512K write and random 4K-QD32 write performance went virtually unchanged once we filled the SSD 850 Pro.
