IBM inks deals

IBM has signed a deal to bundle Red Hat Enterprise Linux with its Big Blue servers that use its Power processor...

[COLOR=#1951B9]Historically, Power-based servers have run IBM's AIX version of Unix and its OS/400 operating system for midrange servers, but the company began an aggressive push for Linux for Power chips this year. [/COLOR]

Opera also announced a partnership with IBM to embed its ViaVoice technology to the Opera web browser.
