Sony fires back, sues Kodak

Just a couple of weeks ago we reported that Kodak was filing suit against Sony, saying the Japanese company's digital cameras and camcorders infringe on its patents. Now Sony is claiming something very similar over 10 or so "highly technical" patents that make handling of digital images easier.

Sony claims this is not a counter-suit and involves different patents than the suit filed by Kodak.

  1. Poor Kodak. First this (among previous troubles...) and now it has been kicked off the Dow Jones.
