Apple posted this week figures corresponding to its Q2 sales
, the manufacturer surpassed earnings expectations thanks to the impressive and ever increasing popularity of its iPod player, selling a total of 807,000 of the devices during the quarter.
[COLOR=#1951B9]For the quarter ended March 27, the Mac maker said it earned $46 million, or 12 cents per share, on revenue of $1.91 billion. That compares with earnings of $14 million, or 4 cents per share, on revenue of $1.48 billion for the same quarter a year earlier.[/COLOR]
