Beyond3d examine the new PCI Express P4 platform, in their recent review of the Intel Desktop Board D925XCV.

Take a look at the highlights of this new Intel platform: LGA775 Processor Package, Hyper-Threading Technology Support, 800MHz Front Side Bus, PCI Express, Dual Channel DDR2, Direct Media Interface, Intel High Definition Audio, Intel High Definition Audio, and something called Intel Matrix Storage, which mixes Raid 0 and Raid 1 properties to boost performance and data protection.

  1. Intel Matrix Storage... sounds great! Maybe we will get something not unlike RAID 5 already built onto the mobo with no need for a seperate controller card?
