First Windows CE Virus

Shut your eyes and imagine for me, a future where its not just the computer that's susceptable to the odd virus - its all kinds of modern electronic devices that contain computers.

Think about it... Mobile phones with viruses... PDAs... Television sets? Impossible? Of course not.

"The first known virus for the Windows CE operating system has been developed and sent to anti-virus companies."

"The virus, known as WinCE4.Dust, does no direct damage to the system. When it's executed, according to descriptions from several anti-virus companies, it asks, "Dear User, am I allowed to spread?" Symantec notes that if the user responds affirmatively, "it will attempt to append itself to all non-infected EXE files in the directory which it is currently running."

I bet there is some real possibilities here for devastating PDA viruses.Since the Pocket PC and Palm operating systems don't offer the user much control, it would be very hard to repair a serious virus... I think?
