Opti issues writ against Nvidia

The patent wars go on and on. This time, its Mountain View, California-based Opti, inc, who today issued a writ against graphics chip maker Nvidia, claiming alleging infringement of five patents its owns. Opti claims unnamed Nvidia products incorporate technology covered by these five patents, all without permission. No word as yet on whether Opti seeks injunction against Nvidia products, damages, or what.
