ATI Radeon chips on tight supply

According to sources at Taiwan graphics-card makers, ATI Radeon chips are currently on a tight supply and the situation is not expected to get any better for at least a couple more weeks. Such shortage which is more common with high-end chips seems to have widened to include most mainstream models in ATI's present offerings.

In reality, this should affect the retail market more than anything else given that OEM builders are given top priority over card makers.
