AOL Job cuts

By Derek Sooman on November 2, 2004, 10:40 AM
Looks like AOL is set to lay off more than 700 workers. The company is struggling with declining subscriber numbers, and urgently needs to take action to address this. Most of the cuts are expected to take place at its Northern Virginia headquarters, where the company employs approximately 5,000 workers. Job eliminations could well be started in December, so if you are an AOL employee, I would start polishing that resume up now.
