Fresh security flaws in IE and Outlook

Fresh security flaws have been found in IE and Outlook Express. These two new problems could enable an attacker to take control over a system with minimal action from the user, it has been revealed. The problems will also exist in most default Windows installations. Other details seem a little light.

Microsoft is investigating the privately reported possible vulnerabilities, a spokeswoman for the Redmond, Washington, software maker said. The company is not aware of any attempts to exploit the vulnerabilities, she said.
