Podcasting explosion

Can we ever stop digital music trading? It seems difficult to imagine when we get to hear about stories like this. It looks like something along the lines of 22 million American adults with iPods or MP3 players have downloaded "podcasts" from the Web. Yes, 22 million. You did hear that. A recent study has found out how huge this really is.

The study authors attributed the rising popularity of podcasting to the relative ease with which individual podcasters can create and distribute files.

Surely now the new target for the RIAA, MPAA and all of those lot, Podcasting is the new big thing in downloading Internet audio broadcasts for playing on portable listening devices.
