Industrial Commercial Bank of China ditches SCO for Linux

By Derek Sooman on
The Industrial Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has decided to switch from SCO Unix to Linux, with Turbolinux being their Linux of choice. The deployment of the OS will take something in the region of three years.

The ICBC bank has over 20,000 branch offices across the country, and utilises a large computing infrastructure.
