Sex sites win reprieve from new federal rules

Internet sex sites will temporarily escape new federal record-keeping standards, it has been revealed. The new standards, which require both producers and webmasters to keep and provide extensive documentation about their performers, including legal name, date of birth and copies of documents bearing a photo ID, will not be imposed in sites that registered with the Free Speech Coalition, an adult-entertainment trade group, by 2 p.m. PST on June 25, at least until September the 7th, anyway.
