Apple is in the process of stalling a 30-day trial offer for its Mac mini. The "Mac mini Test Drive" promotion made it possible for customers to have a 30-day money back guarantee, but only through Apple's online store. Launched last Wednesday, the promotion was gone by the following day. Apple UK refused to comment as to the reason why.

Apple's site had stated that: "We're so confident you'll love your new Mac mini, we'll let you test-drive it for 30 days with no risk. If you decide you don't want it, we'll take it back."
Why did this happen? Well, it kind of remains a mystery. Some voices suggest that Apple could have sold out of Mac minis quicker than anticipated.
