Intel server chip with multiple microprocessors

Intel has today unveiled its first server processors that place multiple microprocessors on a single piece of silicon. The new Xeon processors have been released under the codename Paxville, and promise to speed performance, whilst at the same time preventing the overheating that can plague high-performing processors.
