More on Nintendo DS Trojan

More stories are kicking around about the perils of a Nintendo DS Trojan. An application which is apparently disguised as a viewer for hentai (animated Japanese pornography), wipes out the handheld's firmware, making the device unplayable. The virus is not currently officially named, but it is likely that it will wind up being Trojan.DSBrick.

Only members of the homebrew community and modders are at risk right now from the virus. The only known fix is for those who use FlashMe Firmware Replacement, who are able to recover the Nintendo DS by pressing A, B, Start, and Select (at the same time) and loading from a flashcard.
