Apple updates OS X 10.4 Tiger

The Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger operating system has received a number of updates. As one result of these, Safari is now able to pass the Acid2 standards test. Version 10.4.3 of the OS also provides encrypted iChat instant-messaging without users having to run their own server-based software. In fact, no less than 60 improvements to Tiger have been made, including resolving issues with foreign language versions, and delivering increased system performance and additional compatibility with third-party products.
