Microsoft launches anti-virus beta

Microsoft has released a free beta of its Windows OneCare Live software – the company’s upcoming anti-virus application. Microsoft describes the software as "like taking your PC in for a tune up at the service station". The application, which is based on software developed by GeCad, a Romanian anti-virus company that Microsoft purchased some time ago, is part of the forthcoming Windows OneCare set of deliverables.
