JBoss acquires Arjuna TS

JBoss has acquired Arjuna Technologies' distributed transaction monitor and web services technologies.

The acquisition includes Arjuna Transaction Service Suite (ArjunaTS), one of the advanced transaction engines, and Arjuna's Web Services Transaction implementation, the market's only implementation supporting both leading web services specifications-Web Services Transaction (WS-TX) and Web Services Composite Application Framework (WS-CAF).
ArjunaTS will bring powerful distributed transaction processing capabilities to Boss Enterprise Middleware Suite (JEMS(tm)). This is of particular interest to sectors such as financial services and telecommunications.
