Google has announced the launch of its new Web publishing feature in beta. Known as Page Creator, the tool is now accessible by a select group of Gmail account holders. These users are able to create and publish their own Web pages.

Page Creator is designed with the slightly less technically-inclined user, and doesn't require software downloads or knowledge of HTML to use.

"It's simply a browser-based tool that makes creating Web pages as easy as creating a document in a word processor," a Google spokesperson told PCMag.
