Yesterday Dell unveiled the new UltraSharp 2007WFP - a new 20-inch wide-screen LCD priced at $529. The UltraSharp 2007WFP comes with the usual midnight gray cabinet and matte-finish silvery stand familiar to Dell, and comes with S-video and composite inputs and an easy-to-use picture-in-picture/picture-by-picture function. The device's menu appears as a row of icons at the bottom of the screen, similar to a taskbar. There are three screen modes - gaming, multimedia, and standard.

  1. wow... the PIP and POP functionality would make this monitor very unique.. but more importantly, is it AACS compliant? If not.. you're better off holding onto your cash or you wont be watching HD movies on that baby anytime soon (EVER).
  2. i got the 2005fpw a few months back on deal i saw at fatwallet for $370. The wide screen is nice for watching my battlestar galatic downloads.
