Many of you out there are using Mac OS X, so it's good news to hear that Apple has released the next update for the OS. Update 10.4.6 is available as a standalone installer from Apple's site or as part of the usual Software Updates, and brings fixes to file sharing, 802.1X support, various file security and permissions issues and more. Interestingly enough, the update even patches code affecting Intel-based Macs using the Intel integrated graphics, and has a host of other multi-media related updates not directly tied to OS X. If you're an OS X user, it's probably in your best interest to snag it.
