Samsung has announced that its US rollout of its BD-P1000 Blu-ray players have been delayed from 23 May to 25 June. The move is seen as indication by some that Blu-ray player manufacturers are having trouble implementing high-definition technologies. The official line from Samsung seems to be that the company needs more time to test its product's compatibility with test discs that will only become available to manufacturers this month. Samsung also claims that the delay will enable them to add new features to the product.
