Global sales of CPUs and ICs remain strong

Good news for ... everyone, I suppose, in IT, with global sales of semiconductors (including processors and ICs) rising a significant degree in the past few months, with a 7.3% increase in the previous quarter. This results in a revenue yield overall that is nearly $60 Billion, showing that not only is the CPU and IC market healthy, but growing, which means that continued development and research is virtually guaranteed, something that benefits all sectors, public and private. Things are still looking good for the second quarter too, and this most directly impacts people like us in the CPU market, with both Intel and AMD making lots of headway. An example is AMD laying out their plan to transition to the 65nm process, which they recently made available
