IBM is also on the hunt for more talent to bring into their company, and as such has recently acquired BuildForge, a company that develops auditing software and was a member of IBM's developer network. IBM is very happy with this decision.

"The acquisition marks the latest event in IBM's quest to build an ecosystem of developers that support open standards and open-source technology," Leigh Ann Fowler of IBM's software group said in an e-mail.
IBM announced the acquisition today, and the full press release is available on BuildForge's site.
