Optimus delays OLED mini keyboard again

By Justin Mann

On May 19, 2006, 1:59 PM

Once again, the very interesting OLED keyboard gadget from Optimus has again been delayed, despite reassurances that it was going to be ready by now. The delay puts it off by three months, now schedule to hit the stores around August 15th, putting it off its original schedule by six months. Product delays like this, especially with such a new and novel item, are to be expected, but many people want to try out this new tech. Hopefully when August rolls around it won't be delayed again.

  1. This is cool technology, but wwwaaayyy to expensive.
  2. If their full-size OLED keyboard was $120, I would have bought it. Unfortunately, it's just a 3 key thing "which is capable of displaying 5 frames per second" only. Being able to watch a video, or Winamp visualization with it would make it more attractive...
