"Panorama" to bring Xbox Live Arcade to Windows
Very little light has been shed on “Panorama”, which is a type of live gaming service that Microsoft will introduce with Windows Vista. While Microsoft acknowledges that they are developing it, they are tight lipped about what it's specific function will be. There are some details, however, and there's a good tidbit of info over at Shacknews about this. Based on the success of Microsoft's other gaming platforms and the entries in a Microsoft blog, Panorama aims to bring Xbox Live to the PC. The robustness is debated, and specifics aren't yet available. But if every Vista PC shipped has Panorama ready to go, Microsoft won't have any problem in making it just as popular as Live Arcade is.
