There's a great interview over at shacknews surrounding Battlefield 2142. The upcoming game has had many questions rise about it, and now many user-submitted questions have been answered in it by Kristoffer Bergqvist of DICE. Since they are user-submitted, they relate heavily to actual gameplay and what we can expect, which makes it exceptionally interesting. He went over the types of maps we can expect, details like foliage being used as cover, different game modes, the future of BF2 after it's release and more. He did mention that 16:9 resolutions won't be supported, since it would give certain players an unfair advantage in terms of peripheral vision, which is strange considering how big of an advantage BF2 players have if they have much faster computers. It's a very interesting set of questions, one definitely worth reading if you are looking forward to BF2142.
