The lower power profile of the Core 2 Duo is making itself an ideal fit in places you'd never normally see an Intel chip. Epson has recently announced the development of an extremely small Micro PC, the “Endeavor ST100”. Weighing in at only 2.3kg and being smaller than a toaster, the Endeavor packs a lot of goods into a small space. It sports a 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM, a 160GB 5400RPM 2.5” disk, a dual layer DVD burner and more. It isn't anywhere near cheap, coming in at nearly 1600 Euros, but it might fit perfect for someone looking to build a media PC without having to... build it.

No mention was made as to product availability.
