Apple releases large batch of security updates

The much-discussed pack of fixes that Apple has had in the works has been released today. Including a whopping 31 different security fixes, Security Update 2006-007 is available now for OS X going back to 10.3.9. Supposedly it fixes, among other things, a severe wireless hijacking bug . The download itself totals in at 23.9MB if you wish to download it yourself, though Mac users can also let the OS update itself. A few days ago, the updates were being talked about. This update does not fix many other known flaws, though the most severe were included.
