The first patch for Firefox 2 has been released, along with an update for Firefox 1.5 as well. The respective patches are addressing a total of 10 flaws for 2.0 and 9 for 1.5, bringing versions to 2.0.0.1 and 1.5.0.9. Some of the fixes are for vulnerabilities in JavaScript implementation and "LiveConnect", which allows Java applets and JavaScript to communicate. On top of releasing the updates, the Mozilla team also issued a reminder that the 1.5.x branch of Firefox is not long for this world, with the end of maintenance occurring just three months from now.

You can read the full release notes and download the releases at Mozilla's site, or you can just use the auto-updated included in Firefox.
