If you use Linux as your desktop, you've probably been a bit irked that Flash 9 has been long delayed. Thankfully, for x86 platforms it is here, available as a binary install. As this is a final release and not a beta, likely the meta-distributions will soon be including it in their package lists, allowing users of those distros an easy upgrade path. With the large number of sites that are relying on flash 9, it's good to finally see something come out of Adobe. Hopefully they won't wait this long when bringing version 10. You can get the binary as an RPM or as a TGZ at the Adobe site.
