Research in Motion, the company behind the BlackBerry, has settled a lawsuit they filed against Samsung. Accusing Samsung of misleading customers into thinking that their BlackJack and its services were related to the BlackBerry, they demanded monetary compensation and, in a bizarre move, the destruction of anything that carried the BlackJack name.

Destruction? Either way, the settlement details aren't being released, though part of them include limitations on how Samsung continues to use the "BlackJack" name and requires them to withdraw their trademark application. Ouch.
