Acer expects 30 to 40% shipment growth in 2007

Acer is claiming that 2007 will be a good year for them, saying they expect shipments to increase 30 to 40% over last year. If that is true, it'll push Acer into the number three spot worldwide as a supplier. They face very stiff competition from Dell and HP, who both have more than twice the share that Acer does.

They haven't outlined how they plan to achieve these numbers, though due their quick growth over the past few years it wouldn't be surprising.
