Despite the fact that Outlook was dropped from the Home and Student versions and despite the fact that very little went into pushing Office 2007, sales for it were excellent. In fact, the new suite has vastly surpassed Office 2003's initial sales, more than doubling the dollar amount brought in during launch week. Unlike the browser markets, where Microsoft has been slipping, they continue to reign supreme in the Office market, at a whopping 96.8%.

Office Ultimate didn't do as well as expected, though the other versions sold more than enough to makeup for it.
