Patch tuesday is here (well, it was here yesterday), and with it comes a slew of new patches, six of which were in the critical category. Known flaws in Internet Explorer, Office, Windows XP and Server 2003 were released, including several that could result in system compromise. No updates were released for Vista proper, though Windows Defender and IE are both stock on Vista, both of which had issues this time around.

As the article mentions, flaws for Vista probably won't surface for a while yet, as it still hasn't made it to the masses for both finding the flaws and exploiting them. If you use automatic updates, you should expect to see the patches ready to go.
