Radeon users everywhere rejoice, for AMD has released updated Catalyst drivers. Bringing the package version up to 7.2, the driver package has various performance boosts in the X1000 series, particularly with OpenGL. There is still no support for the X1950 XT under Windows Vista, but all other cards are supported in both 32bit and 64bit versions. There were various improvements made to the Catalyst Control Center, and a few bug fixes. The release notes are in the drivers section of the ATI/AMD site, where you can also download the package.
