Linux Nvidia users rejoice, for as of yesterday Nvidia has released updated drivers. Regardless of your platform, the 1.0-9755 drivers are now available for download, in both 32bit and 64bit flavors. These new drivers include support for additional Quadro cards and even enable some SLI functionality for the GeForce 8800 and some newer Quadros.

Without a doubt, Nvidia has been a pioneer in the graphics arena for Linux driver development, providing relatively quick updates with driver packages that are easy to install. This definitely helps make it easier to bring Linux to the desktop.
