If you've used eBay at all the past decade, you are used to the feedback system, in which buyers and sellers can leave short comments and either rate the other up or down. The system has been in place for a long time, and has drawn criticism for its black-and-white ratings that don't give a real indication as to what type of eBuyer someone really is. eBay is revamping the system to address those issues and is implementing "Feedback 2.0". The new system, which will first be demoed in Australia, Belgium, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Poland and the U.K., utilizes four categories on top of the "positive, negative and neutral" that exist now.

The four categories will let someone be rated not only on how they act overall, but how quickly they ship and how well they communicate. After the initial rollout, eBay plans to offer it in the U.S. come this spring.
