iTunes customers now have a lot more content available to them, with Apple's introduction of many MGM titles. MGM has been added to the list of companies willing to distribute in this fashion and have brought their titles with them. Costing between $9.99 and $14.99 each, they are cheaper than a typical new release DVD but are on-par with a “classic” DVD release. Apple has seen good success with movie downloads, with over 2 million sold in the past 9 months.

Eventually, all the media giants will see the benefit of online sales. We hope.
