Google has lost a few big-name customers and big-dollar deals due to the stigma attached to YouTube and its piracy, but they are not giving up. In fact, CEO Eric Schmidt has come out to state that the answer to the piracy woes they face is nearly finished and will be here soon. The system, dubbed "Claim Your Content", will supposedly be able to automatically identify what content is copyrighted and what content is legit to have up on the site. Originally, this system was supposed to be in place months ago. It wasn't, though, and it has cost Google. This has earned the ire of many big names, such as NBC and Viacom.

Most recently, Google and Viacom have been going back and forth over a lawsuit due to copyright infringement on YouTube.
