PS3 firmware 2.00 update?
Details on an upcoming 2.00 firmware upgrade for the Sony PlayStation 3 console have reportedly been leaked. The details, including 34 new features and enhancements, were apparently posted by mistake on Sony's PS3 press site and subsequently removed; however a veteran contributor on the official PlayStation forum managed to grab a copy of the announcement and posted it on the forums.
Still, this remains a rumor since no official confirmation by Sony has been made. Among the new features and enhancements PS3 owners could now access the XMB (Xross Media Bar) while they’re playing, PSOne and PS2 games backwards compatibility improvements, and RSS support.
There is no mention of a release date. You can read the full firmware update details here.
