AllOfMp3 prepares for re-launch?

After the US Government succeeded in pressuring Russia to close AllOfMp3.com last month, it seemed safe to assume that the site was shut down for good. That may not be the case after all, as owners of the infamous cut price Russian Mp3 retail site announced their plans to resume service.

“The service will be resumed in the foreseeable future. We are doing our best at the moment to ensure that all our users can use their accounts, top up balance and order music,” a blog post from the company reads.
The announcement follows a Russian court decision to throw out a case against the former head of Mediaservices (parent company of AllOfMp3) Denis Kvasov after he was not found in violation of any Russian copyright laws.

The record industry has vowed to appeal the court’s decision and has threatened to take this case to the World Trade Organization if necessary, so we probably have a few more chapters left before this story is over.
