Microsoft updates Live.com's appearance
Microsoft has given Live.com a facelift, particularly the search page. While I am sure they will deny this every step of the way, the new Live.com search page looks eerily like a Google clone now, though the fonts and buttons do have a very “polished” appearance that reminds me of Vista. I must admit it does actually look quite a bit better, and the actual results pages look more lightweight.
In the near future, they are also planning to modify the search engine itself, though what exactly they have in plan isn't known. Next week they will reveal what their plans are for Live.com and of course try to convince us that it is better than Google.
