Lenovo not leaving China
Rumors sometimes pan out to be just rumors, and such was the case yesterday with news regarding Lenovo. It was reported at several sites that the laptop company was destined to leave China, seeking better manufacturing sites elsewhere. As it turns out, Lenovo has denied this move, saying they have no plans to move manufacturing and the reports were false.
A move such as was reported would have been good for Taiwan, though it isn't happening this time. The exact reason behind the mistaken report isn't mentioned, but sometimes rumors are just rumors.
