Microsoft and Dell are teaming up with the (Product) Red campaign to offer four specially branded products to raise money for AIDS treatment programs in Africa. The project is expected to be announced later this week during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Specifically, Dell will offer the XPS M1530 and M1330 notebooks, priced from $1150 each, plus the $1,599 XPS One desktop all under the (Red) product line. The PCs will run a RED-branded version of Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate and the Global Fund will receive either $50 or $80 for every laptop or desktop sold, respectively. In addition, Dell will donate $5 for each purchase of a 948 All-In-One Red printer, which has a starting price of $150.
