Corsair announced today speed boosts to their DDR2 and DDR3 product lines, bringing faster RAM to those who can afford it. At the top end of the spectrum, Corsair is making two new DDR2 speeds available, including the somewhat more recognized PC2-8500 at 1066MHz, along with a faster "PC2-9136" at 1142MHz. The latter will obviously require a performance motherboard to take full advantage of the high frequencies. The units are both available in 4GB kits.

Corsair is also introducing new DDR3 kits in their Dominator series, including PC3-16000 modules which they rate at 2000MHz. You can read more in Corsair's press release.
