Google loses marginal global market share
With all the noise around Microsoft and Yahoo, one could think it would all be green acres for Google who stood to gain market share if either company slipped up. And yet, according to a recent report Google has become less popular for search, losing a marginal 1/3 of a percent around the globe. And while 0.3% may not seem like a terrible lot considering that Yahoo's global participation dropped and Microsoft's stayed the same, someone else has picked up the slack, but we don't know who yet.
As a side note, these figures come from ComScore, which if I may add are used all around from marketers, to advertisers and financial institutions. This is quite unfortunate given how inaccurate ComScore measurements really are, at least in our experience.
